marcus_ryan I might be 10 years late to the party, but what does that matter? When I think of pop music, I think of Top Sound. There’s not a song on this record that doesn’t exhibit thoughtful, creative songwriting, qualities that used to define pop music but now elude most. And it’s its listenability that makes it truely impressive. I sing along with every track (even Francophile, and I don’t speak French). While there are notes of bossa and 60s sunshine pop, the band keeps their own sound—a Top Favorite track: Sparkwood.
